Welcome to the SOTA W6, W7 and W0 Association Website. SOTA originated in the UK, but has spread throughout Europe and now the US, and Asia, encircling the globe. SOTA is an award program for radio amateurs and shortwave listeners that encourages portable operation in mountainous areas. SOTA has been carefully designed to make participation possible for everyone.
The SOTA W6/W7/W0 Association encompasses the entire U.S. 6th, 7th and W0 call areas. Between the 8 States there are many points and peaks offering activations of all skill levels.
